Can the FlexOn Flange be used over an existing flange?
Yes, the FlexOn Flange was designed to be used as a replacement to broken flanges. However, the 4” ID of the pipe must be clean and clear of any existing flanges. A spigot type flange that is fitted inside the pipe does need to be removed. A hub type flange that is fitted on the outside of the pipe does not need to be removed if it is below or even with the finished floor level.
Do I need a wax ring or ANY other type of seal with the FlexOn Flange?
No, the patented inward lip of the FlexOn Flange ensures that a secure seal is made without needing to add any additional seals or wax ring.
Do I need to use the spacers every time?
No, the use of the spacers is optional and is only needed when there are flange elevation issues that need to be corrected.
